FRANCITAS - June 22, 2005
FRANCITAS - Robert F. Long, 62, of Francitas, died Friday, June 17, 2005. He was born June 23, 1942, in Ganado, to Robert E. and Alice Jones Long. He was a truck driver for Vulcan Materials of Helotes.
Survivors: daughters, Sherry of and Lynnette; son, Robert E. Long of San Antonio; sisters, Hilda Pendleton of Edna and Mary; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Triska Funeral Home, the Rev. Rick DuBroc officiating.
Burial will be at Hawley Cemetery in Blessing. Triska Funeral Home, El Campo, 979-543-3681.

GONZALES - Betty Lou Bricker, 43, of Ganado, died Tuesday, March 23, 2010. Born Oct. 28, 1966 in Ganado to Arbie and Hilda Long Pendleton.
Survived by: her mother, Hilda Pendleton; husband, Eric Van Bricker; daughters, DeAnna, Cherie; grandson, Jay and Brandon; sisters, Rose, Joanna and Bobbie Jo; brothers, Harvey, Douglas and Earl Pendleton.
Preceded in death by: her father; and son, Brandon Earl Jones.
Inurnment services will be 4 p.m., April 9, 2010 in Hawley Cemetery, Matagorda County.
Memorials may be made to the Delhi Community Center. Services were under the direction of Seydler-Hill Funeral Home, Gonzales, 830-672-3232.

Infant Brandon Earl was born on November 4th, 1983 in Wharton, Texas to Betty and Larry. On December 22nd, 1983 our Lord called for him to be one of his angels. See, Brandon was born with a rare blood disorder. One no one knew anything about till he passed on.
Brandon's momma and daddy tried to have other children, but it was just not meant to be.
Betty has since passed on and is now holding Brandon tight in her arms. Something we all knew it was time for her to do. Brandon must have really wanted his momma.
In honor of Betty's wishes we laid her to rest with her baby boy at Hawley Cemetery.

Rose Marie Daniels born to Harvey Lee Daniels Sr. and Hilda Luellen Long on April 3, 1960 in Bell County, Texas, has gone home to be with our Lord on Friday, March 14, 2014. She was raise in Francitas, Texas by her loving grandparents: Little Granny and Grandpa….
She is preceded in death by both parents, grandparents, daughter Sonya Marie Garza, and sisters, Betty L. Bricker, Myrtle Luellen Pendleton, and her Uncle Robert Fernando Long.
She is survived by her husband and four daughters, she is also survived by her three brothers and two sisters, her grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, and cousins also also one aunt.
Family will be holding on to ashes.
May she rest in eternal peace now and forever….

We wish to express our sympathy to the family of C.D. Long who passed away last week. is funeral was in the Pentecostal Church with Br. Pope the pstor in charge. Interment was in Peebles Cemetary near Goodrich.

Robert E. Long, 65, a longtime Francitas resident, died inhis home Sunday following a lengthy illness.
Born in Cimarron, Okla. June 1, 1916 to the late Dea and Jennie Hopper Long, Mr. Long had worked as a blacksmith.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Triska Funeral Home's chapel with the Rev. Lloyd Nixon officiating.
Burial will follow in Hawley Cemetery in Blessing.
Mr. Long is survived by his wife, Mrs. Alice Long of Francitas; two daughters, Mrs. Hilda Pendleton of Pasaena and Mrs. Mary Blocher of Bay City; a son, Robert F. Long of Francitas; a sister, Mrs. Thelma Rose of San Angelo; four brothers, Dea Long Jr. o fStafford, Garlon Long of Francitas, Pete Long of White WRight and John Long of Sils__?__; 11 grandchildren and two great-granchildren.
